Absolutely! Just let us know during the questionnaire process and we will make sure the itinerary matches all of your family’s needs. Please keep in mind that our turnaround time may vary as we want to make sure that every experience and city visited is fully acceptable for your needs.
Yes, our itineraries include exclusive experiences not typically available to the public. We use our industry contacts to create unique opportunities for you and your family! Pimbi Adventures custom itineraries are the results of studying the countries, understanding the specialties, and finding a way to include the nation’s unique features into your travel plans.
This will depend on the questionnaire you fill out. Every family has different requests and budgets. Typically, the cost will include flights, lodging, experiences, transportation, taxes, service fees, and may include some additional service charges depending on lodging. Tipping in general will be up to the individual family. Travel document costs are not included.
We aim to provide you with the first draft of your itinerary in 3 to 5 business days. This time can vary depending on the length of your trip, the number of guests, and your desired location. If we need additional time, we will communicate any delays with you directly. After the first review of your itinerary, you’ll have the chance to make changes 3 times, as well as the option to consult with your trip planning agent over the phone if you desire.
After your (up to) 3 rounds of edits to your itinerary, you will have up to 72 hours to book your vacation. Beyond 72 hours, Pimbi Adventures would need to confirm that pricing has not changed and that flights, lodging, etc. are still available. If the final itinerary is not booked within 14 days of receipt, the itinerary will be considered inactive. If you would like to reactivate it, there is a fee of $75. This fee will cover the work involved in ensuring that all elements of the itinerary are still available and make any changes where necessary.
Pimbi Adventure will charge you a down payment ($150 for 1-4 travelers, $180 for 5-8 travelers, and $250 for more than 9 travelers) after you have completed our detailed questionnaire and before your request is sent to us. Our rates are designed to accommodate the amount of work required to ensure we realize your dream vacation. We understand the chaos of family life, accommodating every member’s preferences can take countless hours to plan for. Save yourself what could be weeks worth of planning in your free time with our expertise. This amount is non-refundable, but will go towards the overall custom booking fee for your family adventure. For your convenience, we recommend booking your trip at least 6 weeks in advance. This gives your family time to prepare and make sure you have the required documents, especially during Covid-19. We understand that you might decide to travel last minute, in this case we recommend you reach out to us and we will let you know what we can assist you with depending on the time available. Ideally, families should begin planning their travel 6-12 months prior to their desired vacation dates.
With our commitment to you and your family, we will do whatever we can to assist you in time of need. The best way we can support you is by offering you Travel Insurance. It’s impossible to know what might happen next, especially when you are traveling as a family. More people going on a trip more unfortunate circumstances can occur either prior to or during your trip. We want to make sure your family and your investment is protected, which is why we automatically include travel insurance in your personalized travel itinerary. This is to ensure your family is in safe hands, so you only need to worry about enjoying the experience. Of course, it is possible to opt-out if you prefer.
Once you pay your family vacation in full, you will receive the final itinerary with all your trip details and ticketing. Pimbi Adventures will send you regular emails with location-specific information, travel document reminders, travel alerts, and reminders to confirm your flight.
We accept Visa or Mastercard. Your card will be charged in USD at the exchange rate applicable on the day your bank processes the charge.
After you have booked your vacation and therefore approved the final itinerary, a fee of $75 will be charged for any changes you make. This fee does not include fees the providers may charge. If you are delaying your entire trip, there will be a $150 change fee in addition to any change fees the other providers may charge.
Travelers are free to reject any Itinerary for any reason prior to completion. Once a traveler confirms an itinerary as satisfactory, the custom booking fee is 50% refundable up to 30 days prior to your vacation departure. Cancelling within 30 days of your departure, the custom booking fee becomes non-refundable.
If you cancel your trip up to 90 days prior to departure, Pimbi Adventures charges $400 per person cancelling their trip and the remainder of the trip cost is refundable. If cancelling within 90 days, the following will apply:
- 89 to 57 days prior to departure – 70% of total per person trip cost is refundable
- 56 to 36 days prior to departure – 50% of total per person trip cost is refundable
- 35-22 days prior to departure – 25% of total per person trip cost is refundable
Less than 21 days prior to departure – no refunds given.
*There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early.
